finally back in hall again.....it seems like days since i last stay in my cozy l'il hostel room...... life here's great w/o my roomie ard. she would always turns off all the lights, leaving me frightened and cold in the dark...... with no music (cos she can't study with music).... best is that when this sweet roomie knows that i dun dare to slp in near total darkness, she brought in this tiny tiny blue lamp(honestly, that's very nice of her, bbbbbuuuutttt....), so that she can turn off MY desk lamp and yet have for me some consoling blue light..... little does she know that the blue light is freaking scary..... its those very dim blue light, that lights up the area in front of the window....and FYI, outside my window, there's lush forestry...... making the whole "scene" even more scary.....

guess its like that, having a roomie who shares a totally different lifestyle with ya....yah....its a form of mo2 lian4 i guess..... i've always been quite lucky previously, having had roomies who shares either similar interests or lifestyle or can put up with my late nites...... so its time for something different! well i've never told how i really dislike slping in dark cos roomies mah gotta be tolerant (heehee, and so i save all my rantings for here)..... and i dun own the whole room oso.....she reserves her rights to switch off the lights..... nevermind.......all this shall end soon anyway.... keke...

ok, i've finished bitching and complaining..... feel better now, you see ,dear, i needed an outlet to express all those sufferings i've endured (yah lah yah lah....excuses......)...... ok, let's move on with life.....

Anyway, yesterday was deepavali, yep, i went for the D celebration at my ex-neighbour's place, well, din get to eat chappati, but had some really nice catered bryani, curry chicken thigh, mutton rendang, chilli prawns, chilli fish, all sorts of spicy stuff lah....yumyum...... anyway, seeing how well this family is doing now, my mum shared with me an anecdote of something that happened more than ten years back, when we were neighbours----- last time dunno why, the auntie's mother used to borrow $ from my dad, then one day, she came to my mum, wanting to borrow $ from my mum, but my mum said no, then from then onwards, she started to dislike my mum, and even put a broom beside the tu3 di4 gong1 outside my house, and prob swept rubbish to my corridor?.....then when my mum saw her yesterday, she could still smell some gunpowder(huo3 yao4 wei4)......ok, not interesting.....nvm....


oh yah.....went to the xiao hua xiao cao thingy on wed.... disappointed..... my friend and the pretty babe from nie din get into the finals....WHY? why din the pretty babe, kel, get in? this really puzzled all of us there and probably many viewers at home.... anyone with eyes that have the ability to see things would know that its OBVIOUS that she's the chio-est lor..... maybe edmund chen, huishi and huang pin yuan think she looks too matured and pretty to be xiao hua..... guess their definition of a xiao hua = an ordinary, kiddish looking ger who's popular with young l'il boys in sch? and i've to listen to ppl saying :huh?!....ntu quan2 jun1 fu4 mo4 ah.......


Whatever it is, i've learnt 2 lessons that day.....

1. dun ever think that you're ever to get a cab in ntu during exams period, in the evening, ard 6 plus. Lemme tell ya this: Its not quite possible. Either call for one, or if u wanna save the $3, take a feeder and get outside ntu to get one.

2. If you see a long Q at the taxi stand, you have 3 choices- go beyond 300m radius and try getting one w/o having to Q, join in the Q, lastly, call for a cab

Well, i've tried all these choices on a single occasion..... darn..... at first, my friend and i were in ntu, trying to wait for a cab (this was at 6.20pm), but as lesson no. 1 has suggested, that's not quite possible, so nv,.....we got a lift from her friends to JP. We went to the taxi stands there, wanting to get a cab from there. after seeing a long Q there, we proceeded to the other taxi stand, just to realise the Q is even longer. Ok, we've decided to be bad and not want to join in the Q, so we went to diff places(even to Jln boon lay) trying to get our asses into one of those cabs. after tens of mins, we've finally realised that we should go back to one of those taxi stand to guai1 guai1 wait for one.....the Q was ever-so-long, so in e end we called for a cab........we managed to hop on to the cab at ard 7.45pm. And yesh, we could have done so more than an hour ago back in ntu..... sianz..... wasted time and $$$.....

so u out there, better be good and not try to take shortcuts in life k...... u think u would save time, but in the end, u're the one at the losing end.....


wow..... what a long post....anyway b4 i end i wanna mention someone's name..... music boy aka chenji......haha....this silly one called me late last nite asking me abt blogs (no lah, not those technical stuff, i can't ans oso), then he asked if i got mention him in the blog......No i said..... then i sniffed some disappointment haha....(nah...juz joking here). Ok here's one for ya chenji: thanx for being my friend! All the best for ya exams. Shall get together for BBQ soon! (food courtesy of jx haha.....)
